Sporting Chance is running its second annual summit this year, again it’s in football’s international break on the 10^th October and this time it’s at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham. CPD certificates will be made available to attendees. Like last year, it will be a day full day of speakers, workshops and presentations and an invaluable opportunity to network with those with an interest in the mental health agenda in professional sport. We have created this conference for everyone in professional sport who has an interest in supporting athletes/players as part of their day to day and we particularly value attendance from those in performance-facing roles.

The speaker group will consist of a range of mental health professionals and other experts presenting on a range of industry relevant topics and we are also hosting an athlete panel which includes former Olympians Nile Wilson and Victoria Pendleton.

Expert speaker insight will cover topics including:

• Elite coach wellbeing and burnout
• Effects of psychological stress on transitions, recovery, performance
• Barriers and facilitators to mental health help-seeking behaviours in high performance contexts
