General Responsibilities

Football fitness coaches are responsible for the physical performance of a football team.  They design training programs to improve strength, speed, agility, and endurance, and to reduce the risk of injury. 

Responsibilities within Football
  • Design training programsCreate plans for the whole season that take into account the players’ individual abilities and the team’s needs 
  • Monitor progressUse tools like BMI and body fat percentage to track how players are improving 
  • Adjust plansAdapt programs to meet the players’ changing needs and the team’s schedule
