Andy Renshaw is a Consultant Physiotherapist at Harris and Ross Wilmslow.
Andy heads the Football Rehabilitation Department at Harris and Ross in Wilmslow, offering professional rehabilitation services to support clubs at levels and for players of all ages.
He specialises in sports injuries and offers support services to professional sports clubs that can take any form- a second opinion or a full period of rehabilitation. Andy will work closely alongside your medical staff to support player care, whether it be providing screening/baseline testing data or a full term of rehabilitation, using proven rehab protocols and gold standard testing procedures.
Andy was previously the Head of Physiotherapy for Liverpool Football Club and has 16yrs full-time experience of working in Premier League Football.
Andy started his career by gaining a BSc (Hons) degree in Sport and Exercise Science at Sheffield Hallam University and then qualified as a physiotherapist at The University of Salford. He then completed an MSc degree in Musculoskeletal Physiotherapy specialising in Manual Therapy from Manchester Metropolitan University.
He spent time working within both football and rugby before landing a job at Bolton Wanderers in July 2002 as the Academy sports scientist and Physiotherapist.
He later progressed to the role of First Team Physiotherapist at BWFC before moving to Anfield in 2009.
After initially working with the club's Academy set-up, Andy was appointed as their Head of Physiotherapy in the summer of 2016, a post he held until November 2017
