Nick Davies has left his role as Head for Fitness at West Ham United to end his second spell with the Premiership side. During his 6 month period at the club improvements were made in both physical performance of the team and also the soft tissue injury rate. The former Charlton, Birmingham and Norwich Head of Sports Science was appointed by David Moyes in December and played his part in the club recovering from being in the relegation zone to finishing 13th in the table.
The experienced Davies began his career 15 years ago at Charlton Athletic under Alan Curbishley.
Said Nick “Proud to have been part of the staff at West Ham for the last 6 months. It’s been fantastic to work with some outstanding people. I wish the club well in the Premier League next season. Excited for what the future may hold. Next chapter……..”
