Dr Mark Gillett has been formally appointed to the role of Medical Advisor at the Premier League. The former West Bromwich Albion FC Medical Director and current Head of Medical at Nottingham Forest FC will take up his role with immediate effect.
FMPA CEO Eamonn Salmon said “Mark is well known to us at the FMPA having been a member on our committee for the past 4 years. We wish him well in this new role and very much look forward to working with Mark in the future.”
“I am delighted to be taking up the role of Medical Advisor to the Premier League and building on Matt Perry’s excellent work,” Mark told the FMPA. “I’m very much looking forward to working with Eamonn Salmon and the FMPA over the coming months.”
