WHAT IS ProMOTION EV1?
ProMOTION EV1 is a unique device that provides hot, cold or contrast therapy, between the ranges of 6°C – 40°C, compression from 20mmHg to 75mmHg. Elite athletes and sporting individuals can use it for musculoskeletal aches, pains, strains and injuries across the body.
ProMOTION EV1 is fully portable and battery operated, with no need for ice, water or tethering. You can also:

ProMOTION EV1 is the first product based on new technology and science developed alongside researchers from the University of Central Lancashire and Manchester Metropolitan University.
Within our Knowledge Transfer Partnership, the device has been through years of trials and rigorous testing with professional teams and leading academics to optimise safety and performance.
WHY TARGETED CRYOTHERAPY?
The guidelines for injury management have introduced ‘optimal loading’ as a solution to encourage early activity to optimise recovery.
Previous studies have identified potential adverse effects on muscle strength and dynamic stability following ice treatment. However, evidence supports the use of cryotherapy to provide short-term pain relief for soft tissue injury.
Emerging research has now shown that targeted cryotherapy, such as that offered by ProMOTION EV1, has the potential to provide the desired short-term pain relief and minimise the adverse effects of cooling. This allows players to return to weight-bearing activity earlier, at a lower risk of re-injury post-intervention.
ProMOTION EV1 has been developed with such research in mind. We take a scientific approach to improving the treatment solutions available for musculoskeletal injuries in elite sport.
