Manchester Metropolitan University have listed two new courses for FMPA Members:
MSc/PgDip/PgCert Sport and Exercise Medicine and MSc/PgDip Sport Nutrition

There are many reasons for doing a masters or other postgraduate degrees — to give your career a boost, to change job roles, to pursue a passion, or to prepare you for your PhD or doctoral research.

The MSc/PgDip Sport Nutrition will give you knowledge to examine the evidence surrounding nutrition, performance and health to help you gain the nutritional and physiological skills needed to work in the field of sport and exercise nutrition.

You will have a minimum 2:2 UK undergraduate honours degree, or equivalent, in nutrition, dietetics, physiology or sports science with a strong biological sciences component or a related subject.

The MScPgDip/PgCert Sport and Exercise Medicine course is designed for qualified doctors, physiotherapists and osteopaths with clinical experience. On this course you’ll study the prevention, diagnosis and management of sport and exercise related medical conditions and injuries.
