‘Hanging Up Their Boots’ – Long Term Sequelae of Playing Professional Football

Dr Steve McNally Manchester United Football Club Head of Football Medicine and Science and Professor Michael Callaghan, Head of Physical Therapies, are pleased to confirm that the Third Manchester United Sports Medicine Conference will take place on Friday 15th November 2019 at Old Trafford, Manchester. The day is open to medical, scientific and healthcare professionals working across all sports.
The theme of this year’s conference is the long term sequelae of playing professional football. We are focusing on musculoskeletal problems including arthritis, cardiac issues, psychological problems, and encephalopathy.
