Two day football fitness workshop
Millwall FC Sports Science department are hosting a 2-day football fitness workshop. The workshop is aimed at coaches, sports science graduates, undergraduates and anybody else looking to get a greater insight and understanding into the current concepts of fitness and conditioning within football.
The workshop will combine a mix of both theory and practical sessions and will cover the key aspects of fitness and conditioning within football including; football warm ups, resistance training, plyometrics, speed and agility training, football specific conditioning and planning & periodization for football. The workshop will be split across 2 days; Day 1 will focus on pitch-based training and conditioning and day 2 will focus on gym-based strength and conditioning for football.
