SPORT AND EXERCISE MEDICINE – PREVENTION, MANAGEMENT AND RECOVERY

The 5th joint annual Sport and Exercise Medicine conferencedelivered by the FSEM(UK) and BASEM will take place at the Royal Armouries Leeds on the 4th and 5th October 2018. Guest sessions will include:

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

The conference is aimed at the Sport and Exercise Medicine Community, including Medical Doctors, Physiotherapists, Orthopaedic Surgeons and other specialties, medical students and SEM Trainees, healthcare professionals, professionals from multi-disciplinary teams related to the care of athletes.

CALL FOR ABSTRACTS

The organisers would like to invite submissions of abstracts for poster or podium presentation.

Research from all clinical aspects of sport and exercise medicine is invited; anything that relates to the health, well-being and function of patients or athletes.

The Association and Institute Prize for Sport and Exercise Medicine

Submitted abstracts will be reviewed and successful applicants will be invited to present their abstracts at the conference. This will mainly be in poster format but those submitting the best abstracts will be invited to present their research as a short podium presentation during the research session on the morning of Friday 5th October.
