Colin is currently the Director of Perfomance at the National Sports Academy for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is an experienced Medical and Performance professional with over 25years experience working with elite professional football teams, National Governing Bodies (including Scottish Football Association and Scottish Rugby Union), as well as both Internationally and Nationally recognised teams, players and athletes. He has extensive experience of working in highly pressurised, results orientated soccer environment and in turn has created an excellent reputation as a successful enthusiastic, passionate, dependable professional with a desire to succeed and lead others to success. Colin is Owner and Lead clinical at Back2Fitness in Edinburgh, providing specialist assessment, treatment and rehabilitations to a variety of athletes and the general public. Whilst also acting as a Medical and Performance consultant to teams an athletes. Colin has a wealth of experience and knowledge working in professional sport as a player, coach and clinician. Having been forced to retire from professional rugby due to injury, Colin is able to empathise with all athletes when injuries occur and can share in their frustrations when unable to compete or train. Colin is also a senior academic and researcher. He is a Fellow of the Higher Educational Academy and has worked in academic for the last 12 years as well as consulting. Colin has worked with many media outlets (including Sky Sports News, BBC, STV as well as other printed press) providing clinical expert commentary on sporting injuries, treatment, prevention, recovery and performance strategies. Colin is the Senior Sports Performance Manager at MAHD- the new national sports Academy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
