I have worked Internationally in Elite Sport for over 23 years with Team Doctor positions in Football, Cricket and Motor Racing.

Currently into my 13th season in Football – 7 in the Premier League and 5 in the Championship, as Head of Medicine and Team Doctor for Burnley Football Club.

Memorable moments include navigating the Team through the recent COVID pandemic, developing and implementing a Club and Community wide Mental Health Strategy, helping to save the life of a Referees’ Assessor immediately before a PL game and a running a successful Saving Lives Campaign – CPR training for 20,000 fans each season.

Originally a GP by background, and a keen Rugby Union Player, I learnt my sporting trade under Dave Fevre at Blackburn Rovers (PL) before gravitating into Sports and MSK Medicine.
Trained in MSK Ultrasound and Ultrasound guided Injections.

ATMMIF qualified ( Full course – Sept 2021) and Sempris covered.
