OFFICIAL LEAD SPONSOR OF THE FMPA
ProMOTION EV1 is a cutting-edge device, designed to help reduce recovery times in elite athletes.
Developed in partnership with elite sports clubs, physiotherapists and academics and using the latest thermoelectric technology, it is designed to tackle the key challenges faced with soft tissue rehabilitation, targeted pre- exercise warm-up and post-exercise recovery.
Offering cooling, heating and compression therapy all in one device, ProMOTION EV1 works for every stage of the healing process.
ProMOTION EV1’s cooling application can be set from 6 to 15 degrees – the optimal temperature range to apply in the acute phase of an injury.
When the player starts moving out of those initial acute stages of an injury, ProMOTION EV1’s contrast therapy can be used. Contrast therapy is typically done through cold and warm water immersion, but with the EV1 there is no need for water.
Post-Acute / Chronic
ProMOTION EV1 heats to the optimal 38 – 40 degrees temperature range in seconds and can accurately maintain this temperature throughout the entire program. Combining compression will also allow deeper tissues to get the therapeutic effect.

What the Players are Saying
“This is a great device currently on the market. It does both cold and heat treatments to isolated parts of the body, which is ideal”
Nathan Delfouneso, Accrington Stanley
“It’s a top end product and one I’ll be using for the rest of my career”
Toni Duggan, Everton
Harry Maguire, Manchester United
“The heating setting was really good just before training when I could get a bit more blood to the actual injury. It settled it down quite a lot.”
Jake Rooney, Derby County

Offering cooling, contrast and heat therapy all in one device, ProMOTION EV1 works for every stage of the healing process. We spoke to Dr David Rhodes and Dr Jill Alexander, practitioners working in elite sport and academia, about the three stages of recovery from acute sporting injury, and how they would apply the ProMOTION EV1 device at each stage. Here’s what they had to say…
The use of ice is currently a rather hot (or should we say cold) debate in the world of sports medicine. Icing has been part of the treatment plan for acute injuries in sport medicine for decades, but the latest research is raising questions over this practice.
The team at ProMOTION spoke to a range of experts to explore the science around the use of ice and the latest research and clinical thinking.
When a player is at the top of their game the difference between them, and the next player in line, can be marginal. But sometimes it’s that one percent difference that counts.
